A group of HCZ Promise Academy High School scholars thought they were going to the offices of O, The Oprah Magazine to provide the publication with a younger generation’s perspective on politics.
Turns out they were there for an entirely different reason: to meet the founder of the magazine, Oprah Winfrey, and none other than the former First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama!
The offices of O were filled with shrieks of excitement as our scholars were met with a surprise greeting from Oprah and FLOTUS, who shared advice about building confidence and careers.
