About West Side Community Center

Opened in 2013, West Side Community Center (WSCC) is a place for residents of Central Harlem and Houses to gather, learn, celebrate, and find support.

WSCC, which shares a building with HCZ Promise Academy I Charter School, hosts free classes, holiday celebrations, and more. While WSCC is open to all Harlem residents, many of its services are offered specifically to our St. Nicholas Housing neighbors.

Residents are also welcome to meet with members of our team to take advantage of several benefits or, as needed, be referred to our many partners for additional supports. And, with safety officers on-site 24 hours a day, WSCC is a safe haven for our community.
