“I did not decide to get vaccinated without reflecting deeply on the relationship between Black and Brown communities and the health-care system in the United States,” Canada writes. “However, I’m confident I made the right decision for myself and my family, and I’m sharing my thoughts with you with the hope that you will do the same.”
