Harlem Children’s Zone CEO Kwame Owusu-Kesse is featured on Crain’s New York Business 40 Under 40 2022, a class of influential New York leaders — including those “championing the causes of New Yorkers who don’t always have a voice, working to boost access to food, mental health care, housing and internet connectivity for all.”
Crain’s shared how, under Mr. Owusu-Kesse leadership, HCZ has “become a model and a partner for organizations around the country.” The organization also launched a national COVID-19 Relief and Recovery Effort to support Black and brown communities disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr. Owusu-Kesse, Crain’s also noted, became a Harvard University Business School (HBS) “case protagonist” this year. The Harvard tradition highlights leaders who inspire HBS students to build successful organizations and make a positive impact in the world.
