Geoffrey Canada Wins National Freedom Award

Geoffrey Canada received the prestigious National Freedom Award from the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, Tennessee, for his commitment to improving education and fighting poverty: “We’ve allowed failure to become the norm in schools across this country and nothing changes.
