Harlem Free WiFi is here! Sponsored by The Fuhrman Family Foundation, the network is now complete and covers a total of 95 blocks — from 110th to 138th Streets — between Frederick Douglass Boulevard and Madison Avenue, helping bridge the digital divide for nearly 80,000 Harlem residents and making it the largest continuous free outdoor public WiFi network in the country.
In December, teams from eight HCZ sites participated in an organization-wide ad campaign competition to help promote the new network. Ad materials — like the flyer above — feature the winning design from high-school students at HCZ’s Learn to Earn after-school program. Don’t forget to connect to Harlem Free WiFi next time you’re in the Zone.
