Harlem Children's Zone Asthma Initiative, in collaboration with Harlem Hospital, is looking for an experienced Research Coordinator to manage, execute and analyze data related to this community-based health initiative. 

HCZ is seeking a committed Garden Apprentice to manage and build the agency's rooftop garden and associated internship program. 

In this part-time unpaid internship position, the Garden Apprentice and Intern Program Instructor will implement a year-round garden-based green career exploration program for the students of HCZ, teach garden and environmental science classes, and help to maintain the HCZ rooftop garden.

The Harlem Children’s Zone is looking for an Evaluation Fellow to spend a year working on evaluation projects.  This fellowship will offer a solid education to a doctoral student looking to enhance his/her knowledge in program evaluation and quantitative analysis skills.  With the guidance of Senior Evaluation Staff, the Evaluation Fellow will engage in activities that will provide opportunities for learning about the implementation and evaluation of a “cradle through college” approach and gain valuable experience. 

The duration of the appointment is from September 2010 to August 2011 with a Fellowship stipend of $10,000/year.  You will be expected to be working on site during this time. The deadline for application submissions is 8 p.m. (EST) August 20^th, 2010. A panel of reviewers with expertise in evaluation will judge the submissions and the successful applicant will be required to submit a final evaluation report at the end of the fellowship year.

The HCZ Human Resources Department is currently seeking a Recruiting Manager. The Recruiting Manager plans, implements, and manages strategies to attract and retain top talent for the Harlem Children’s Zone.  The Recruiting Manager also helps plan, manage and participate in new hire orientation programs.
